At Rudra Light, we understand that plans can change. This policy outlines the conditions under which cancellations and refunds are processed for astrologer consultation bookings. We encourage all clients to review this policy before making a booking.

Key Policy Rule

To be eligible for a cancellation and refund, you must contact our support team at least one week (7 days) before your scheduled appointment date. Cancellation requests received less than one week before the appointment date are not eligible for a refund.

Cancellation Window

The cancellation window determines your eligibility for a refund based on how far in advance you request the cancellation relative to your appointment date.

Cancellation Eligibility Timeline

More than 7 days before appointment — Eligible for Refund

If you contact support and request a cancellation more than one week (7 days) before your scheduled appointment, you are eligible for a full refund. The refund will be processed according to our standard processing timelines.

Less than 7 days before appointment — No Refund

Cancellation requests received less than one week (7 days) before the scheduled appointment date are not eligible for a refund. This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation.

How the 7-Day Window is Calculated

The 7-day window is calculated from the date and time your cancellation request is received by our support team, to the scheduled date and time of your appointment. For example, if your appointment is on the 15th of a month, your cancellation request must be received by our support team no later than the 8th of that month to be eligible for a refund.

No-Refund Policy

No Refund for Late Cancellations

No refund will be issued for cancellation requests received less than one week (7 days) from the date of the scheduled appointment. This policy is strictly enforced to respect the time and preparation of our astrologers.

Why This Policy Exists

Our astrologers dedicate significant time to prepare for each consultation, including reviewing your birth chart, Dasha periods, and specific questions in advance. Late cancellations prevent us from offering that time slot to other clients and result in lost preparation time for the astrologer. This policy ensures fairness to both our clients and our professional astrologers.

Additional Non-Refundable Situations

  • No-shows (failure to attend a scheduled consultation without prior notice)
  • Consultations that have already commenced
  • Digital products and AI-generated reports that have been delivered
  • Subscription fees for any period already used

Information to Include in Your Request

To help us process your cancellation request promptly, please include the following information:

  • Your full name and registered email address
  • Booking ID or confirmation number
  • Scheduled appointment date and time
  • Name of the astrologer booked
  • Reason for cancellation (optional but helpful)
  • Preferred refund method (original payment method)

Processing Timelines

Once your cancellation request is received and verified as eligible, the following timelines apply:

Request Acknowledgement

1–2 Business Days

We will acknowledge receipt of your cancellation request and confirm eligibility.

Cancellation Confirmation

2–3 Business Days

Your booking will be cancelled and you will receive a confirmation email.

Refund Processing

5–10 Business Days

Refunds are processed to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after confirmation.

Refund Method

Refunds are issued to the original payment method used at the time of booking. We are unable to issue refunds to a different payment method or as cash. If your original payment method is no longer available, please contact our support team to discuss alternative arrangements.

Exceptions & Special Cases

While our standard policy is strictly enforced, we recognise that exceptional circumstances may arise. The following situations may be considered on a case-by-case basis:

Astrologer Cancellation

If an astrologer cancels or is unable to attend a scheduled consultation, you will be offered the choice of rescheduling with the same or another astrologer, or a full refund regardless of the cancellation timing.

Technical Issues

If a consultation cannot proceed due to a technical issue on our platform, we will work with you to reschedule or provide a refund as appropriate. Please report any technical issues to our support team immediately.

Rescheduling

If you wish to reschedule rather than cancel, please contact our support team at least 7 days before your appointment. Rescheduling requests are subject to astrologer availability and may be accommodated without penalty when made within the eligible window.
